Hockey Pool

Privacy Policy

Last updated September 6, 2026

Hockey Pool is a small, independently-run project operated by Appdromeda Technologies Inc. Here's what we collect, why, and who else sees it.

What we collect

  • Your email address and password, to create and secure your account.
  • Whatever you enter into a pool — team names, an owner label, a ruleset, side-bet notes. This is visible to other members of that same pool, same as it would be in a shared spreadsheet.

We don't ask for or store any payment information — we don't process payments at all (see the Terms of Service's note on side bets/pool dues).

Who else sees it

We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. A few outside services do the actual work of running the app, and each sees the data it needs to do that job:

  • Supabase — holds your account (email, password) and the app's database.
  • Resend — sends the emails the app sends you (invites, confirmations, password resets). We don't send marketing email.
  • Vercel — hosts the app itself.
  • Google Cloud — runs a small scheduled job that pulls public NHL stats to keep standings current. It doesn't touch your account data.

Cookies

Just what's needed to keep you logged in. No analytics or advertising trackers.

Deleting your data

There's no self-service “delete my account” button yet — email admin@appdromeda.com and we'll take care of it by hand.

Children

Hockey Pool isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this ever changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
